Marriage encouragement

Keep choosing each other, one day at a time

Strong marriages grow through everyday choices to love, listen, forgive, and serve. Even a small act of kindness can bring you closer together.

A prayer for your marriage

Pray together

Dear God, strengthen our marriage. Teach us to love each other the way You love us, with patience, grace, and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Encouragement for every season

01 / Celebrate

If you're in a good season

Celebrate what God is doing in your marriage. Keep making time for conversation, prayer, laughter, and the little things that help you stay connected.

02 / Reconnect

If you feel disconnected

Reconnection often starts small. Make time to listen without distractions, speak honestly, and pray for each other. One intentional conversation can be a meaningful first step.

03 / Find support

If your marriage is in a hard place

Difficult seasons deserve care and attention. Seek wise counsel, talk with someone you trust, and consider connecting with Oasis for marriage support.

04 / Build together

If you're newly married or engaged

Build a strong foundation through prayer, honest conversations, shared expectations, and friendships with couples who can encourage your growth.

Prayers for couples

A prayer to pray together

Dear God, thank You for bringing us together. Be the center of our marriage. Help us choose kindness when we're tired, patience when we're frustrated, and forgiveness when we've been hurt. Make our home a place of peace, laughter, and faith. In Jesus' name, amen.

A prayer for your spouse

Dear God, I lift up my spouse to You today. Cover them with Your love and strength. Give them wisdom in their decisions, rest for their mind, and joy in their heart. Help me to see them the way You see them, and to love them well. In Jesus' name, amen.

A prayer for reconnection

Dear God, we've drifted, and we need You to draw us back to each other. Soften our hearts, open our ears, and help us communicate with honesty and grace. Restore what has grown distant and make our love new again. In Jesus' name, amen.

A prayer for a hard season

Dear God, our marriage is hurting, and we don't have all the answers. Be our comfort and our guide. Heal what is broken, and give us the courage to seek help. Remind us that nothing is too hard for You. In Jesus' name, amen.

A prayer for a new beginning

Dear God, as we begin this journey together, lay a strong foundation beneath us. Teach us to serve one another, to keep our promises, and to grow in faith side by side. May our marriage reflect Your love to everyone around us. In Jesus' name, amen.
