This course is designed to equip you with some simple tools that will help you understand what Scripture is saying and how to apply it to your life.
Lesson 1: Bible Study Tools
In this session we will learn how to effectively use a Concordance, Bible Dictionary, Study Bible references, and different Versions of the Bible to further deepen our understanding and application of God’s Word.
Lesson 2: Observation
When we study the Bible, we are constantly zooming out and zooming in to discover overarching ideas and underlying principles.

Lesson 3: Interpretation
While the Bible is generally plain in its meaning, proper interpretation requires careful study and is not always easy. In this session we will identify the key principles to unlocking the meaning behind even the most challenging passages of Scripture.
Lesson 4: Application
Now that we understand what the Bible is saying, what should we do about it? This is the most critical step. In this final session we will discover how to apply the Word of God to our lives so that we are not just “hearers” but “doers” of the Word.
