Our Vision

To reach the community in sports by cultivating a spirit led environment to equip, shape, and empower servant leaders through Christ.

Drill of the Week : Pull Back

 WEEK 3: DEVOTIONAL

Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge and he shall direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust the Lord more than anything. What are some things you put your trust in more than God? Where do you need to put your trust in God today? When you trust God more than anything he will lead you in the right path.

Dear God, help me to trust in you, not myself or those around me. Teach me to seek you and seek the path that you have set out for me. Help me lay down anything that takes my eyes off you. Amen!

Coach Andrea Cruz

I am from Houston, Texas. My favorite scripture is Romans 8:18. I have played soccer for 11 years, I played for Paul Quinn college and a semi-professional team for UWS League. I accepted Christ at 7 years old and have been a follower of Christ since. This season I am looking forward to developing servant leaders in Christ through soccer. Also, witnessing the personal and spiritual growth of the players.

Coach Angelo Chavez

I’m originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have been a follower of Christ since the age of 16. My favorite scripture is Ephesians 2:8-9. I have played sports my whole life and actually played football at a collegiate level. I understand what sports can do and teach as far as development goes. I have experience coaching and working with kids, and really love the idea of self-development even at an early age. I look forward to seeing the kids develop proper characteristics of an athlete who follows Christ!

Coach Stephen Murihia

I was born in Kenya and grew up in Atlanta GA. My favorite scripture is 1 John 4:19. I have played soccer for 7 years and coached for 4 years. I have been a follower of Christ since the age of 15. I look forward to having fun and honoring God by striving for excellence.

Coach Nia Parker

I am from Carrollton, Texas. My favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:7 “Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” I started playing soccer in the 5th grade and ended in 2018 after playing for SMU’s Women’s club team and intramural sports. I have been a follower of Christ all of my life; however, in the 7th grade I chose to get baptized and take initiative to pursue Christ on my own. This season I am looking forward to assisting players in developing new skills, a love for the game of soccer, and creating an environment that incites learning, character development and fun!

Coach Daniel Gabriel

I am from London, United Kingdom. My favorite scripture is Psalm 23:1. I have played football for 11 years, playing for Kent League, National League, and UPSL. I have been a Christ follower all of my life from an early age. I remember how important it was for me to have great football mentors and coaches when I started playing football. So I want to do the same for the players looking to play football on a competitive level. This season I am looking forward to developing players’ relationship with Christ, their football skills, and their passion for the game. I believe that having a good and passionate football coach can uplift a player’s outlook and attitude on life, Walk with Christ, personal well-being and their studies.

Coach Jordan Hill

I am from Frisco, Tx. My favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 1:7. I have played soccer for 18 years including collegiate soccer at Texas A&M University. I have been a Christ follower all of my life from an early age. This season I am looking forward to being able to give back to the kids with the knowledge of soccer and connecting it with scripture!
